Linda Jassim is Principal of Studio J, where she defines her clients’ direction and works closely with each firm to expand their horizons and current market opportunities by creating a clear and specific roadmap. Studio J uses various strategies in e-marketing, media positioning and proposal development to create a strong presence for her clients’ work. The firm specializes in Architecture, Landscape Architecture and the Construction fields.
Linda Jassim earned her Masters of Fine Arts from the American Film Institute in Communications and Film Directing and received a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Southern California. Linda previously worked as a landscape designer and marketing director at Nancy Power & Associates, where she worked on all aspects of research, design, presentation, and project management. She also directed their effort to establish a brand identity by creating new marketing materials. She was editor and project manager of “The Power of Gardens,” a monograph of Ms. Power’s life work. She has published articles about architecture and urban issues in print and online. She has recently won a 2010 Westside Urban Forum Prize for her urban planning project, “Envisioning El Monte”. A former Board member of the Garden School Foundation and former Chair of the Arts Commission in the City of Santa Monica, Linda also had an extensive career as an EMMY award winning TV and film Producer and Director. Linda also brings a unique sensibility to her work from her extensive background in the TV and film business where she produced and directed over 90 productions.
